Hi,

I am looking for a list of States/Regiments that were issued the Shorts Knapsack. I have found that they were issued to Ohio, New York, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. If there has been a thread on this before, please direct me to it. Thanks

My other question is the following. While states bought and issued these knapsacks, could the Federal soldier privately purchase them? Thanks
