Hi all, this my first post as a member. I was a very active living historian for about 14 years but left it behind about 9 years ago for a variety of reasons.
In the meantime I see much as changed as far as authenticity and solid reproductions goes.
I, and a few friends are looking to get back out in the field but we are looking for the best stuff this time to replace our farb pieces with.
Accordingly, I am looking for input on the best (most authentic) vendors for the following items:
1.) Federal Sack Coat
2.) Federal Emergency Issue Blankets (brown)
3.) Shelter Halves
4.) Socks
5.) Shirts (both military and civilian)
6.) Suspenders
7.) Wallets
8.) Housewife
9.) Candleholder
10.) Razors
11.) Mirrors
12.) Poke bags/Plug tobacco
