  • Many, many maps

I beg pardon if this is a well-known site, but I didn't know about it until someone on another board brought it up. There are dozens of maps of battlefields, rail lines, passes, rivers...all period and most, if not all, by Army cartographers:

The access images download in decent time even on my slow dial-up.

    Re: Many, many maps

Great resource. Ive been looking for something like this so I can find old encampments and defensivlines in my area (beaufort, SC). If this is a well known site, it is new to me.

Scott, have a modern map or GPS with you before you get too deep in the swamps of the lowcountry.
