I'm looking for information on Logan Beecher Adams. According to what I have found he was a member of Co. B 4th TN Inf (CS). He rose through the ranks of Freemasonry to the office of Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee. However, he never became Grand Master and moved instead to Hustonville, Ky. which is near me. He and former Union Surgeon Dr. Hawkins Brown were the cornerstones of the Hustonville Masonic Lodge for several decades after the war.
I'm trying to find something of his military service and wish to verify his status within the Grand Lodge of Tennessee. Incidentally, he was born in 1830 and died in Hustonville in 1830.
