Gents,
Here is a pic of George H. Stevens, off of e-bay. George was the organizer and Captain of Company "A" 2d Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, "The Citizens Guard", rose to Major of the 2d Wisconsin by May 30th 1862, and to Lt. Col. on Jan. 26, 1863. Lt. Col. Stevens was mortally wounded on July 1, 1863 during the initial charge on McPhearson's Woods. He died four days later on July 5th.
