What a great image! Thanks for posting, Jeremy.

Note the variety of snare drums, eagle motifs, and ears and hooks for adjusting the tension of the ropes. I love the look on the guy's face who has dissasembled the snare to replace the skin. Having done this myself a few times, this is about as accurate as you can get to portray the feeling of dissasembling a drum to do so!

The belt knife over the head of the fifer is interesting, too.

Particularly noted is the variety of headgear with everything from forage caps to civilian hats being represented. Anyone have any information on the kepis? These seem to have braid on them akin to officer-type headgear, but none of these guys seem to be officers and they all appear to be the same kind of hat.

Very neat, and the neckwear is great, too.
