    Oh, how I wish I had seen this while making my coat for the 150th Chicamauga!

    For sale is a very interesting officer's frock with SC provenance CLICK HERE FOR LINK. Some of the details that I notice right away are:
    - Cuff trim (and perhaps Austrian knots?) have been removed.
    - Welted buttonholes.
    - Printed fabric sleeve lining.
    - Velvet lined collar

    A very interesting item, to be sure! It looks a lot like the coat Jordan Ricketts made for Chicamauga!

    Yes indeed, the it looks like the cuff trims were taken off. Very nice shots of the printed sleeve lining too. That is something that I've not seen in an original garment, just read a few accounts. Thanks for the link.
