I re-typed this book and posted it in January, 2005. Before the August, 2006 crash. So here it is again. It's saved in "word pad" file, so you may need to adjust the margins some. It's a a great compliment to the Pvt. Nisbet letters and most of the information appears accurate. It does have some what of a "war story" feel in places, but the facts and information contained match other period accounts. The 23rd was also part of "Evan's Brigade."
