    Hello everyone,
I am new to this era but want to get started. I have always had an interest in the civil war and consider myself to have a substantial knowledge base particularly in the battle of Gettysburg. I also have done WW2 for about 5 years mostly doing living history. But I am looking to try my hand at CW. I am in central PA, anyone have any federal unit recommendations?
    Thanks,
    Pete

I would recommend the "Buzzards Mess" centered in south central PA. If you want a dual impression there is a plethora of groups with which you could get involved.

I would also recomend the Buzzards Mess. If you can send me your email address I will put you in contact with them.

Welcome. Are you looking for a cavalry unit to join?

Welcome to the Authentic Campaigner Peter! There is a lot of information to be found here on the AC. Enjoy your time here and take some time to peruse the Camp of Instruction Folder. There are some really good articles in there if you haven't found them yet.

              We appreciate the support.
