Re: Handle for careen half skillet
I have a piece of bailing wire at where the opening would be, and find that sticking the socket of my bayonet into it a certain way makes a good perpendicular handle that has not failed me yet.Ryan Schuda

Re: Handle for careen half skillet
Use the cut out for the spout and the half will rest a little more flat. I should have mentioned that in my first post; you pointed out that the method I suggested would indeed look wierd if the curved sides are used.Originally posted by spadegrip View PostDo you bend a portion of the canteen half so the stock will go straight out the side or leave the lip at the original angle and have the stick pointing at a 45• angle?Last edited by Ambrose Bierce; 12-04-2015, 09:34 PM.Ivan Ingraham
