  • Where to buy period fabrics

I am sure the question has been asked on the forum before but I can not find it. Can someone point me to a discussion of the best places to buy period fabrics especially wool?

Don't forget Charlie Childs/County Cloth as a source as well. Wm. Booth Draper has some good fabrics for both the late eighteenth and nineteenth C. reproductions, in particular civilian.
I wish we still had the beautiful range that Family Heirloom Weavers used to offer. :(

Burnley and Trowbridge - cater to 18th century but have some great stuff that can be used for 19th as well!
