Re: Blankets for Wauhatchie

I have an original coverlet that I'm going to use at Wauhatchie, but like others have said, a good used blanket becomes available every now and again. But you have to act fast, as they usually sell quickly.Robert M. Farley

Re: Blankets for Wauhatchie

I got mine slightly used from a guy who had two of them....they were FHW I believe (US). I posted on here and the Civil War Reenactors Trade Forum on Facebook (that's where I got lucky and snatched it up quick).Originally posted by dfirestine View PostWho is the current "Go To" vendor for blankets? Re: Blankets for Wauhatchie

Hi, Mr Firestine - I have some used Federal blankets I can turn loose. I have an FHW gray with black end stripes and 'US' stitched on it, and a couple of unknown manufacture emergency tan and brown blankets, with and without the stitching. I can text pictures if you'd like to send me a number, and tell me what you're looking for.John Purdy

Re: Blankets for Wauhatchie

Button Barron is passable at the moment. Their Blanket also comes with yarn and a "How-To" with about 7 different patterns for oneself to stitch in the "U.S."Very Respectfully,
