I fell down the sewing rabbit hole recently and bought myself a CC North Carolina jacket pattern. I've assembled jackets before, but I was working from pre-cut material. However, the way the pattern is sized feels wrong, and in assembling the jacket I found the armscye to be incredibly tight, much tighter than a jacket of a smaller size I had laying around.
I feel the issue lies in the mismatch of the shoulder seam. Even with easing I don't see how that could be right. Checked a few Devere plates and the seams all aligned.
Has anyone dealt with problems such as this, or problems with County Cloth patterns before?
