  • Blueing Bayonet??

I recently read something on the AC regarding blueing on portions of the enfield bayonet. What portions of any would be blued on the bayonet? Also who makes authentic scabbards to fit enfield bayonets? Would it be appropriate to use a richmond depot style scabbard for the bayonet?

    Re: Blueing Bayonet??

    Paul,

The socket, "goose-neck" and locking ring were typically blued on Enfield bayonets.

Regarding authentic makers, please consult the AC vendor list.

    Thanks,
