  • Defarbing a Springfield

Having tried searching the Forum several ways without success, I apologize for asking what is probably an old, repeated question: What is required to defarb a'61 Springfield beyond refininshing the stock and removing the Italian name from the barrel? I have both Armi & Euro. There is often lengthy discussion on Enfields but I can't find the same for Springfields. I realize I could simpy get Zimmerman to do it but I enjoy working on my weapon and would like to learn.

    Comrade,

Just go to the bar at the top of the forums page, and select the "search" function. Type in the word defarb and you'll see a number of different threads on the subject.
    respects.

Found this one on page 2.....

There was a real good thread on the process, however, I've come to the conclusion that it is stuck in limbo (translation: The three years worth of postings in the old forum!) :cry_smile
