Where can I get a jacket kit?

I have a nephew who wants to start reenacting and I would like to find a Confederate shell jacket kit for him like a Columbus depot or Mobile.

The problem with this football player is that he has about a 56” chest and a 36” waist.

Where could I get a good jacket kit in the larger size?

Give Charlie Childs a call. Also, check CJ Daley's sight, he carries large sizes in his regular stock, and Skilletlicker is in the process of several product runs, including some CS jakcets. He can usually get you an item made in the size you need. Ben Tart is another good option.

Those are your options. That's about the best you can do as far as a kit. Good luck! You should be happy with any of those vendors.
