Federal unit in or around NC

Hello,

Trying to locate a unit for a friend who is interested in getting started in the federal side of the show. Was wondering if anyone could put me in the direction for a unit in or around NC as we are both stationed at Bragg but are currently in Iraq.

You might consider our Mess for enlistment. The Skillygalee Mess was born out of the 19th Regiment of Virgina Volunteers in Charlottesville, Va. But the bulk of our members reside in Asheville and New Bern.

Our members portray Eastern and Western Theatre Confederates and the generic Eastern Theatre Federal soldier.

We are a loose-knit group of friends who like to have a good time and seek to become involved in the progressive movement. Our Mess is attached to the newly formed Cumberland River Legion (a central group comprised of Mid-Atlantic messes).
