Change 2! Siege Artillety School Sept. 5th, 2009 Fort McAllister, Georgia

To all concerned:


The plans for Fort Moultrie have been canceled. The NPS wanted to change the date once again, which would have upset several plans. I have made arrangements and secured permission to hold the school at Fort McAllister, Georgia on September 5th, 2009. All other aspects stay the same.

I am sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this has caused. Unfortunately Living History has taken a back seat to other cultural plans and instead of fighting the issue I felt that a change of locality was needed.

To re-emphasize, Do not go to Fort Moultrie.

All the other particulars stay the same. If you have any questions call me at 843-278-2019 or email.

The uniform is Confederate Artillery/Infantry Mid 1863, no weapons are needed.

I will be at Fort McAllister around 7:30 p.m. tonight, Danny Brown stated that we could camp out in the case mates and have a camp fire. The school will start tomorrow at 9 am. No weapons or ammo please, everything else is allowed.
