Greetings:
We have recieved a lot of questions in regards to the event and I will address some of them:
1. This is not a tactical. The event is being planned along timelines with vignettes that occurred at the time and location of the actual engagements. The history has written the script and we will closely follow it.
2. Conditioning. Make no mistake, you need to be in good physical condition for this event. You will be in remote territory in the late summer in the South. With 18 months until the event that leaves participants plenty of time to shed some pounds and get in condition to look and appear like a Civil War soldier. We all can’t be 5’ 10’ and 135 pounds, but we shouldn’t show up taking up two files, either.
3. As we have said, website and command structure will be announced. Patience, please.
4. There will be mounted roles. Information along with a coordinator will follow.
5. The event will be dynamic and involve maneuvering and engagements in rugged terrain. See point number two.
