    8TH MISSOURI: ZOUAVES IN CHATTANOOGA 1863
    July 16-18, 2021

    8th Missouri Zouave Infantry Impression Guidelines:

    Headwear:

    1.) Federal Kepi
    2.) Hardee Hat
    3.) Civilian Slouch Hats (black color)
    (These can be made by Avery Miller by contacting him on Facebook at Goober Grabber Headwear.)

    1.) Federal Forage Hat.
    (Contact Greg Starbuck on his Facebook page called Kepis By Starbuck.)

    (Please note: Absolutely NO hat cords!!! No Irish harp pins or Scottish pins!)

    Blouses/Coats:

    1.) 8th Missouri Zouave Jacket

    (These coats can be made by Kyle Windhal. You can find him on Facebook at K.Windhal & Co. Historic Reproductions. Also, you may check with Kelly Ford.)
    (Please note: these are the only approved vendors for this jacket. No others will be accepted!)

    Trousers:

    1.) SA Trousers
    2.) JT Martin Contract Trousers
    (These can be made by Kyle Windhal at K.Windhal & Co. Historic Reproductions and from Andrew Kasmar at Beauregard's Tailors.)

    Shirts:

    1.) Gray Flannel US Shirt.
    2.) Domet Flannel
    3.) Other Issue/Civilian Shirt
    (These can be made by either vendor as mentioned above.)

    Shoes:

    1.) US Jefferson Bootes
    2.) Infantry Boots
    (If you need new footwear, contact Missouri Boot & Shoe or Fugawee.)

    Leather Accoutrements:

    1.) US Waist Belt with US oval buckle.
    2.) Federal Cartridge Box (Cartridge box without sling. Cartridge box will be held by the waist belt.)
    3.) Federal Cap Pouch
    4.) US 2-Rivet or 7-Rivet Scabbard

    Equipment:

    1.) Federal Canteen with leather or cloth strap
    2.) Federal Tarred Haversack
    3.) Federal Wool Blanket
    4.) Federal Gumblanket
    5.) Federal Double Bag Knapsack

    (Please note: If you need new leather accoutrements or equipment. Please contact L.D. Haning or S.E. Libby.)

    Weapons:

    1.) 1853 Enfield .58
    2.) 1861 Springfield .58
    3.) 1842 Springfield .69
