    Coley, Tripp, John:

What time do rations get issued? Should the men plan on their own food until the event kicks off (I believe 11:00pm Friday)?

    John,
I can't speak for the federal side but on the confederate side we hope to issue rations late Friday evening. I would encourage everyone to eat dinner before they get to the event just to be on the safe side.

        John,

The BBQ we were served last year on Saturday night was quite good. Is the place it came from close-by the park? If so, it could be a good Friday evening pre-event supper option for folks.

        Cordially,

          Keith,

I think there is a BBQ joint on HWY 92 heading back towards Hiram. There is a brand new Hooters on HWY 278 just where it meets HWY 92 (or just before it if you are on your way in).

Hot wings are not recommended as Friday night supper.
