Discussion and Volunteer Workshop, About the most used Item of the war....The Issue Shirt.
This Discussion & Workshop explores the history of the Issue Shirt in the US & CS Armys, and the Depot system that issued them to the men in the field. The discussion will cover the different types of shirts issued by the Military Depot System. As well as how the Military Depot System worked
After the dicussion there will be a workshop & demonstraition for the participant to learn how to make a copy of an actuall U.S. Issue Shirt.
PLEASE NOTE!: Participants MUST call the park to reserve a spot for the Workshop portion of the program. While the Discussion is open to a larger audience, the Work shop portion is limited to 10 participants.
