  • Perryville Preservation Report

I just wanted to say thanks to all who attended Perryville this year. Your attendence at the event helped raise substantial funds for battlefield preservation.

I received this report from the Perryville Battlefield Preservation Association yesterday.

"Reenactor registration fees alone raised $40,000 for preservation,
with further solicitations estimated to bring in another $7-10,000. The
Preservation March and contributions programmed $4,000 toward the
restoration of the 18th US Infantry flag."

Again - Thanks for your efforts toward preserving Perryville.
    Your Pard,
    Chad Greene

The park received checks for a total of $440.00 from the Cumberland Guard Brigade this morning for preservation money. This money will be used for the flag restoration.

        18th US Flag Preservation

The 18th US Regular's Flag will be going to the conservator.
The final amount of funding was raised by those reenactors who participated in the Preservation March.

Perryville Battlefield wishes to thank Chad Greene for organizing the very successful effort. We also wish to thank all those who participated in the march.

We could not restore this grand old flag without your assistance.
        Again THANK YOU!
