  • Ride to Airport on Sunday?

    Hello all,

Three of us, (myself, Jason Reinholz and Jim Schumann) are flying into Savannah for the event from Wisconsin. Getting to the event we're not worried, coming in on a few flights at a few times and will hire a taxi to get us to the event.

However, on Sunday, we're wondering if anyone could get us to the airport? Again, departing on a few different flights, but they all leave around 5 PM on Sunday, so we'd be looking to get there in time for check-in and everything else involved.

I don't wish to be a bother, and we'd cover gas to drive out of the way and (if time between the event end and airport time allows) take our generous driver out to lunch.

    Thank you all,
    Andy Ackeret

      Andy,

Any idea what the cost of a taxi will be? I will be flying in on Friday and was thinking of doing the same thing, just trying to budget cash for the trip.

      Thanks,

        Andy,

Let me know what you find out . We will be heading out on Sunday and will be going through savannah. If you still need a ride we could see what we can work out. I think that each of our vehicles could hold one more and we could throw Reinholz in the luggage rack on top. ha ha

          Rod,

Yeah, Jason would fit there no problem. Steve Ewing lives and goes to school in Savannah, and has been nice enough to help us with rides on both ends of the event. Thank you for the offer though, I appreciate it.

            Rod,

Jason is pretty light and he folds up pretty good, so you might even be able to put him in someone’s knapsack. He doesn’t eat much either. Just make sure to put in a few hardtack crumbs and a damp sock for him to suck on. :tounge_sm

Nice. I was going to say we could use him as a hood ornament but I thought that be be to cruel.
