    Over the past few weeks I have gone through the 1860 Census records for the men that I could find for Company D. Thought you all might find this of interest. Also note, this is taken from the original roster, some of these men had been promoted out of the company or were out of service by late 62.

    Captain W.P. Rucker, age 30, Married, Farmer, $8,000 Real Estate/$10,000 Personal Estate.

    1st Liet. Fred Claybrook, age 22, single and living with father, J.L. Claybrook who had $258,000 Real Estate/$85,000 Personal Estate.

    2nd Liet. A.R. Pinkston, age 34, Married 3 children, Doctor, Real Estate 12,000/ Personal Estate 12,300.

    3rd Liet. John Jordan, age 28, living with father, Farmer, $27,000 Real Estate/10,445 Personal Estate.

    1st Sgt. Alexander Winn, age 28, teacher, Married, 3 children, Personal Estate $ 7,000.

    2nd Sgt. W.R. Hazelwood, age 27, Clerk, living with store owner, Fuller.
