  • Found at Rippavilla!

Hello all, On the way back from The Calm Before the Storm, Ryan Protz and myself stopped at the Rippavilla Plantation. Since I was not able to attend the event and since it was on our way home, we figured we would stop so I could see where Cleburne camped. Beautiful place. We were down by the cabin and I looked up to the ridge and saw a boiler sitting at the edge of the cornfield. This is a large boiler with a bail, lid, and a handle. Ryan said he thought it was the position of Company B on Saturday. If any Federal from Outpost is missing such a boiler give me a PM and we will get it back your way.

It's refreshing to be in company of men who have others best interest at heart. Thanks Dan.

It is refreshing indeed! I want to thank Dan and Ryan for finding a "long lost friend" and Dan for posting about it. I didn't realize I'd forgotten it up on that hill until I was almost back to Florida. If that had been any other group other than our comrades on the AC, someone would have had a rusty souvenier!

          Dan,

Did you find my roll book???

I know it's a long shot . Kinda like finding a needle in a haystack or a rollbook on a plantation.
