  • Event Website Now up

The event website is now up for this event. It is rather crude right now but I have enlisted the help of my fellow AC Admin Eric Tipton to help spruce it up. Please keep checking back for updates and new information. So far we have posted the general information, guidelines and registration information. Here is the url for the site:

I hope to see many of you all there especially in my company.

I really like the idea of this event. There are several examples of drill competions in Larry Daniel's "Soldiering in the Army of Tennessee" with the winning units getting some kind of reward. What kind of drill will the companies be using?

If I'm not mistaken, Hardee's was the Drill manual in use by the Army of Tennessee at this time, and from what I recall of my conversations with Mr. Milbert, will be the same used for this event.

Sounds good, I'll really have to brush up on my drill for this one. I sitting out of reenacting the past 2+ years has left me a little rusty.

Looks like I'll need to procure a couple of items since I rarely do such an early war event but am planing on being there. About how far out of Atlanta is it?

It is about three to four hours outside of Atlanta. It is almost to Nashville.
