  • First Person Weekend at Shaker Village

    In lieu of the recent discussion on the boards regarding first person training, interpretive training and knowledge of material culture, the following event has been planned. I will post more specifics as they become available, but for now a date and location have been set.

    Who You Were, Who You Are, Who You Want To Be: A First Person Seminar

    April 11-12, 2009

    Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, Kentucky

    Join us for a weekend devoted to developing your first person skills and persona. Saturday will feature various sessions pertaining to different aspects of everyday life and material culture. On Saturday night, join us for period entertainments as we have a variety show. On Sunday, students will use the skills that they have learned by engaging in first person interaction while conducting various living history demonstrations.
