Yes, I do hope the Federal Forage cap has made it's way in to the hands of an honest person. It does have some personal value.

It was planted pre-event in Mrs. Sidal's home (Squire Boone). It was in a small burlap bag with a Potato. I will pay shipping for it's return.

Potato may be kept for honest man's reward.....

Actually, this was quite the event for losing things, (for me.) Many were found over the weekend.

Additionally, I also lost an ice pick, camp knife and a cap pouch. Cap pouch and ice pick were found. In what still amazes me, the cap pouch was lost in the thick hills on Thursday. It was found in the thicket by a pard on Friday...Still can't believe it.

The camp knife is still missing. It was lost after "leaving" the dressmaker shop Saturday morning. About 8" long, wood handle, rough rusty blade.

      thanks....

        Jay,
I was in the Boone home, and did not see a forage cap. I know Andy and Jason did a final sweep of things, so perhaps it is with them?!

Also lost was a tin cup with bale wire, about 3"by4" tall has 1/2 in. wide handle, last seen at Squire Boone home. This had been with me since the beginning... 24 years.... hopefully someone picked it up by accident. will pay shipping for its safe return. No questions asked!

FOUND: A pipe on the floor of the mill, after the federal soldiers held the citizens in there Saturday afternoon, so it might belong to either a federal or civilian. I took it with me to the inn for safe keeping and Terry Sorchy has it now, so contact him to claim it.
