  • Raymond, MS May 2010

Putting this in a new thread here as Eric instructed....

The Hard Case Boys will be hosting a LH at Raymond, MS the first weekend of May 2010. We're talking about at least one Federal Company and one Confederate Company. The senerio is a toss-up between a few ideas. We will be having a meeting at the end of this month to work out a few more details. It will take place on some of the same land used in the past larger scale Raymond events. The remaining funds after rations cost will go to the Friends of Raymond who are actively aquiring more of the original battlefield.

Feel free to contact me for more information.

The 16th Louisiana is just down the road from this site. I can tell you that's a great time frame, myself I'm only an hour away, and at this writing in full command of my schedule. Sounds great. I'll be anxious to get new information when available.

Please let us know when/if a website becomes available. As a descendent of 4 Raymond / Vicksburg campaign veterans, I'd like to know all about this!
          Thanks,
