  • "With Pick & Spade -2010" - Update #1 - How to Build a CDF

    Pards,

This is the first in a series of updates on WPS-2010. WPS-2010 is a unique, authentic living history designed to both represent the efforts of the Confederate Engineering Regiments during the Petersburg Campaign and a unique experience for the participants. The Event Committee has been holding a series of School of the Artificers to prepare for the event in May. This month we honed our skills in building the formidable chevaux-de-fraise. Check out our how to page and further reading page for more details on this interesting siege element.

Count me in. This sounds awesome and it is only 30 minutes down the road from my apartment.

        Ed,

There will be a weekly update on the registration list beginning the first week of January. I'll get a list going started over the next six weeks. Obviously with this type of event some portion of the registration fees will go towards materials that we will be building with, so it is never too early to register!

        Thanks,
