I too can not wait for this event. An interesting unit at a pristine battlefield!

All:

I need to borrow a set of colors for this unit for this event. If all we can get is a Federal generic flag, then that is ok, but I'd like to see if an Illinois flag is possible to obtain.

Whoever can provide said colors can be the color guard for this event/unit.

While this is not to say the 24th IL never had a state flag, in my research on the unit I haven't come across any evidence that they had one, though I could be mistaken. Plus since the original colors were some what bare, hopefully there'll be no problem getting a set for October.

That's what I thought, but was unsure of... my preference based upon research/availability is just to use a generic Federal set.

Soooo..... anyone got one?
