This event continues to grow year by year, so with that in mind the Independent Rifles will be hosting a Living History at Fort Gaines the weekend of January 25-27, 2013.
Since the weather is unpredictable at this time of year, all of the enlisted will use the officers quarters building as barracks. There is a catch and a motivator for registering as early as the possible once it opens. We are allowing 60 participants at the event, and there are 30 bunks on the site, you will be assigned a bunk as you register. Once the bunks are full, you will need to pack a ticking of some kind, or just sleep directly on the floor.
