The weather outlook for the Franklin LH appears to show that it will be dry, and rather nice, with seasonably cool nights (projected lo on Fri. night of 37, and a lo of 47 on Sat. Night).
All troops will be camping at the Carnton Plantation on both nights, and we plan on everyone camping in a campaigner manner, with no ‘A’ frames, only shebangs and dog tents. Vehicles will be accessible from the camp area. If you feel it necessary or prudent in the event of a sudden change in the forecast, and desiring that no one get hypothermia in the event it does turn much colder after dark, extra (period correct) blankets, extra layers of clothes, and overcoats, can be brought, but stored in your vehicles for use after hours, and returned to the vehicles at reveille.
Of Special Note: We are also pleased to announce that after the hospital scenario at the Carnton Plantation on Saturday night, the event organizers will Host All Participants at the Conf. Hq area as an opportunity to socialize with one another, and have a few period refreshments before retiring for the evening
