"For all those travelling down 65 south take hwy 225 @ exit 37. No reason to drive all the way to Mobile to turn left.
Huge sign on I-65, can't miss it.
Get gas at that exit or before if need be, there isn't much on 225 until Spanish Fort, which is south of Blakely."
As a side note, once you get beyond the Creek Indian Casinos, gas stations become somewhat of a premium, and once you're off on exit 37 on Highway 225 there is one gas station that is sketchy at best. The highway is extremely dark at night, so be careful as you travel. There is a group leaving out Friday at noon for a seafood lunch and you are ON YOUR OWN FOR FOOD ON FRIDAY! So bring something to cook or make plans to go out in Spanish Fort (about a 10 minute car ride).
