It's Time To Reopen the Cracker Line!

IT'S TIME TO RE-OPEN THE CRACKER LINE!

Tonight, the Missionary Ridge Event Committee is proud to announce that our Brown's Ferry Preservation Campaign Has Begun!

We have the full support and cooperation of the American Battlefield Trust, the Tennessee Civil War Preservation Association, and the Friends of Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park to work towards the common goal of preserving and restoring Brown's Ferry! All net proceeds from the Missionary Ridge Event will go towards site preservation, maintenance and interpretation at Brown's Ferry.

Specific fund-raisers will be announced very soon.

We will also be hosting a Brown's Ferry Work Day at the site to assist with clean up and maintenance. The date for this is TBD and will offer a unique opportunity for all volunteers to be a part of a project to bring a Civil War site back to its original wartime appearance. Furthermore, you will get exclusive access to a site that is currently closed off to the public.

We look forward to working with everyone on this project and hope you will keep checking back for updates.
