Can anyone direct me to a Virginia ''State'' flag with a wool bunting body?

Hello,
You may wish to check into the MOC's collection of Virginia state flags. In their catalouge they list quite a few captured Virginia state flags (most captured late in the war curiously enough). However, they do not state in their catalouge if any of them were made from bunting materials or silk. So, an e-mail or call to the flag conservators will answer your question. Take care.

I got my hands on the MOC collection catalog and they only mention that some of the specimans are silk. I emailed MOC today and I suppose I will hear fom them shortly.
