Noticed that...it happened to "The Watchdog" website once, too.

Thank you Mrs. Lawson for the information, I was surprised, and hoped it was a simple fix. BTW, You're a first rate moderator.;)

I thought it was something I said. Thanks, Mrs. Lawson, for explaining.

Thank you Mrs P. The increase in staffing for that board has made a lot of things possible. Since that site was built with the beginner in mind, the sheer repetition of basic questions can be wearing. Some fine folks are bringing in more original source material, and helping with that task.

As with the early years of the Authentic Campaigner, CWRF is paid for out of a few individuals' personal pockets, and those monetary fixes take a little time. All of us owe a great debt of thanks to the men whose generosity made possible these unique electronic communities.

The problem appears to be fixed; I can get on the site, now.
Thanks for kicking the appropriate tails, Mrs. L. Now Pet will have something to complain about again. ;)

No kicks needed Bernie, just a little hunting and pecking on an iPhone. I simply noticed it at an early hour since MyDaddy was UP.

Used to be though, when I needed a little help with that board's autopilot, I told Chawls. Now I have to get a bit more creative.

Odd. I still get the page with the expiration message, whether I hit my bookmark or "google" it.

                  Mrs. Lawson,
Drat. I tried the forum and couldn't get it to work for me. :(Hopefully soon, all with go well. I know what you mean about how the few provide for the many, happily folks donate to forums these days, God Bless 'em. And yes, I'll go a bit further with your comment that without these trail blazing men creating these online forums far ahead of their time, likely the hobby would be in great financial difficulty and wouldn't be period correct either, or perhaps any farther along than it was 15 years ago.

I met Robert Sazbo once. He had dinner in my old historic home, and was the friend of Will Dunniway. I thought the dinner conversation was fantastic, and I remember when RS left thinking, "wow, what a nice guy."

Out of all of the five forums, I enjoy reading them all. Mrs. Lawson, again, let me say thank you for getting the word out there for those who like to keep in contact with distant friends.:D

Clearing both cookies and history and starting a search from scratch should do it. Otherwise somebody technically smarter will have to answer that one.

Place is running well enough that I'm having to

Re: Bob Szabo's Civil War Reenactors Forum

                      Thank you Mrs. Lawson,

I found I was able to log on this morning.
                      Yesterday was kind of confusing
I can't say why except that it maybe due to the fact that my computer is new. Perhaps it was able to differentiate in the Domain Name (s) quicker.
I did miss what this forum has to offer. And I can't explaine that difference either.
