If any of you live in the Memphis area I would make it a point to get to this...there are some awesome CW items that will probably go for a lot less than the retail market
Wonder how SHelby would feel about this though....
I trekked out to Memphis some years back to hear Shelby give a talk at Rhodes College as he neared his dottage. His passing was a shame. Reckon there's some good items at the estate sale.

I had no idea that he was a lepidopterist. Knowing how private of a person he was I doubt he would like this, but knowing how rare his signed books are I would be there in a heartbeat if I were closer than 2,000 miles away!

Don't feel to bad Dan - I have read on a couple of the sites where the Estate Dealer admits that there will be other estate lots within the sale - so not all of it is Shelby Foote's - the trick will be figuring out what is and what isn't.
