  • Quality/Value Of The "Discontinued" Line Of CVA Brand Civil War Muskets?

How do you determine the quality and value of the remaining line of CVA's Discontinued Civil War percussion muskets (the non-kits)? As Per CVA, they stopped making all muskets in 1990, some like the Zouave model rifle in 1980. CVA said this was because there was no market for them. What does this mean for buying, selling and owning one. Sounds like owning a DeLorean DMC-12 . CVA also stated that the only place to get replacement parts for there models is from Deer Creek(a small shop, smaller than S & S firearms). How do you know what they are worth and what about getting parts if this Deer Creek goes out of business for some reason? Any suggestions are appreciated.

CVA products are so far below the acceptable level of authenticity there is no valid reason to even discuss them on this forum.
