Mods, if this is not the right type of thread, then I apologize. Please feel free to either move it or delete it.
Anyways, I've recently become really interested in doing my family history, and since I live in Salt Lake City with the LDS Family History Library right in my backyard which provides free access to tons of research materials and stuff, I just thought I'd offer to the members here my services in going to look up anything for your ancestors, whether they be Civil War or not. I am in no way a professional genealogist. I'm just willing to go look up stuff for you if you're looking for something specific or whatever and if you don't have subscriptions to Ancestry or any of those other genealogy sites. I just finished looking at some CS pension applications through the indexing program on Family Search, and it put me in the mood to offer to help anyone here on the AC if I can. Again, I'm not a pro genealogist nor am I charging for anything. I'm just willing to go downtown and search some stuff for anyone.
