Partial remains of three who died at Fredericksburg laid to rest

The partial remains of three Union soldiers have been buried at Fredericksburg National Cemetery, 160 years after most of their skeletons were removed. Inside their tiny casket is a trove of military buttons, a coat remnant and other items that got mixed up with their bones.
