Here is a very sad story... The University of Texas is apparently THINKING of removing statues from the campus that depic confederate leaders.

At this point a little over 12,000 have voted and it is overwhelmingly (85%) in favor of keeping the statues. I hope the new UT president gives a listen.

I for one voted... and I hope they listen. With those kind of numbers, maybe we can make some inroads and folks will learn that the War is a part of American History, and it made us who we are as Americans, that the experiment of Secession failed, and forged a stronger Union.
