  • WTB Period Correct Aeroplane

I am looking for an airplane that is suitable for a pilot portrayal from the years 1914-1918. All original only, I don't want to defarb a new plane. Also, I can only spend $1500.00 on this.

    Also, looking for pilot lessons.

    Andy,

I have a Spad VII that I picked up some years ago. I thought I would fix it up but never got the time. It needs some wing struts but that shouldn't be too hard to find. I can send you some photographs. It would cost a little bit more than what you stated but perhaps we can work out a deal for cash and trade. I'm in the market for a good feldmutze.

Good call on going with an original Andy. The repops today sometimes are actually a smaller scale, but high on price. Go with an original!

What Herb said. If you go with the cheaper Paki planes, they will just wear out fast and you'll end up spending as much for them as if you'd bought a good original in the first place.

I've an original Fokker Eindecker, but really only good for an Early War impression, if interested PM me , it's just sitting under a tarp in the yard.
