OK, am I alone here, or am I the only guy sick of seeing the 1950's Ishapore Enfields... Especially those .308 Win conversions!

    This...

Is not the same as this...

    Let's get this straight, folks!

I agree. Folks are just grabbing them up because that cache was found and they are cheap. Doesn't mean they're correct though.

Its like preparing a grass fed all natural 1/2 pound burger, prepared with various delicate spices and served with a nice whiskey with a big mac and a coke. Sure its easier to get one, but which is more truly satisfying?

Newbie to Great War here, but I thought this was a correct Enfield... it has to be OK, I have one documented to have been carried by my Granddaddy in 1918!

            Hallo!

I had an Eddystone, but I think it was a P1917 though. ;)
Could a German have picked up one and used it?

I guess... as long as Sgt. York wasn't the one pulling the trigger. ;)

                Hallo!

Gary Cooper and his '03 will have to suffice.

I don't let Gary Cooper reenact with my unit anymore. So tired of his 03. What a Farb. He should be banned from this forum.
