Oldest Civil War memorial arrives at Frazier Museum

News release and fact sheet regarding the preservation of the oldest extant Civil War monument. I was particularly impressed by the fact that it was carved by a member of the regiment (32nd-1st German- Indiana Infantry) and that it lists not only the names & birthdates of those killed, but their birthplaces (city & Germanic state) as well.
