Re: 21 October 1864 - Quotation from Middlemire (sic) in London

This is a quotation from the firm W M ( William) MIDDLEMORE, the firm was founded in 1801 by Richard Middlemore, at Fordrough St Birmingham,( note the name Birmingham, with date on page two) and was described as "Bridle cutter, accoutrement maker, and saddler's ironmonger".

In 1827 the company moved to bigger premises in Holloway Head, and after Richard retired in 1831, his sons James and William ran the company,
William became sole proprietor in 1841, and it ran until 1896, when it became Middlemore & Lamplugh.

Does anyone know of any CS used accoutrements marked with the Middlemore stamp anywhere?

    Dave Burt, ACWS, England.
