  • Putting the band back together: Curt-Heinrich Schimdt!

    Hallo!

I'm pleased to report Curt-Henrich Schmidt is rejoining us as an AC moderator. Some of you that have been around here awhile may remember that Curt filled that position rather admirably for a number of years.

    Welcome back Curt!

Now, where'd Yellowhammer and Scottie sneak off to?

Excellent! I always appreciated Curt's scholarly approach and his sense of humor. His articles about research are classics.

    But, can he sing? :wink_smil

Re: Putting the band back together: Curt-Heinrich Schimdt!

        Hallo!

        Thanks for the kind words!

As a youth I sang in a school and church choir. When puberty set in, I had the chance to hear my recorded singing, and heard that the voice changes took me from the Wiener Boy Choir to not being able to hit any notes or carry a tune or melody.
So now I only sing in the car (ASS... Automotive Singing Syndrome) waiting for puberty to pass.

        My favourite colour is black.
        My sign is Sagitarius.
        Favourite food: pizza
        Last movie seen: "The Kingdom."
Last book read: "Personal Effects of the German Soldier in World War II"

        ;) :)

It's the pic from the Szabo Civil War Reenactor's Forum. It is rumored that the "baby picture" Curt had been using here finally just wore out. At least Herr Kammeraden figured out how to change his avatar, I am too much of a Luddite to even do that much.

Glad you're back, Curt! So, is it time to change the "Person of no Consequence" byline on your sig? (It was never true, by the way!)

I'm sorry, did he ever really leave? I've never read a post from the guy where I didn't learn SOMETHING.
