I would put forward this image of young Ellen Renshaw House. It comes from one of the Portraits of Conflict books- the GA volume I believe. I reckon she takes the prize over that one you fellers have been dotting on.

Naw..that ain't her. I managed to find a small picture of the girl I saw. She was on the cover of a special edition of the Civil War Times from August of 1999 entitled Women of the Civil War. I tried to copy the picture but the site blocked any attempts to copy it. At least I can look at her on the web page, I reckon I'm a sad case, infatuated with a 19th century girl on a magazine cover.

That image on the cover of Civil War Times Illustrated several years ago, and I thought it was so incredible I had it matted and framed. I tore apart my boxes in storage all this evening to find what issue it was to no avail. I'll head back out tonight and tomorrow and see what I can find.

Hey Ross, I see she got to you too! I guess were infatuated with a ghost. I would love to have a framed copy of it myself & maybe the wife won't get jealous over a long dead beauty. I have searched google images using every possible search clues I can think of but to no avail. I'll keep looking & I sure appreciate you trying to help me out.

Ross, do you have a rough idea when the issued was printed, I might be able to check my copies to see if I have it.
