  • The Battle of Atlanta - Today

Stumbled upon some pretty kewl maps and context while doing some online research for Pickett's Mill : "The Battle of Atlanta-Today." This page tracks the Battle of Atlanta within the context of the modern-day city. Link : http://www.inheritage.org/almanack/a...f-atlanta.html

Wow! We need one of these for every American city touched by this conflict. I love this kind of study. So much is realized about our people and their collective sense of place and purpose all within the contrast/comparison of time and space. It's part of what bit me with the history bug early on. Thanks.
